Since 2009 Active Communities Network have had a Programme Director based in Belfast to oversee our work initially in Northern Ireland and more recently in the Republic. Our work in both countries has focused on youth engagement, leadership and citizenship skills, community safety and education and training initiatives.
Our partnerships include the Department for Foreign Affairs (Dublin), Co-Operation Ireland, Comic Relief, sports clubs and NGB’s and private sector investors, delivering projects in the following areas:

- Derry / Londonderry
- Lurgan
- Newry
- Dundalk
- Limerick
