From 23rd – 26th June 2010 Active Communities Network staff were a key partner in an international summit supporting the launch of a progression and leadership programme for young people in South Africa.
Active Communities Network signs strategic partnership with NIKE

Active Communities Network have signed a strategic partnership with Nike to act as the convenor organisation for the Sport and Social Change Network (SSCN) in the UK. Initially focusing on London, the UK SSCN will be part of a wide network that includes Kenya, South Africa and Brazil, and will work with Nike and other corporate and community partners to promote the use of sport in tackling social and economic issues in the most marginalised communities.
