From 23rd – 26th June 2010 Active Communities Network staff were a key partner in an international summit supporting the launch of a progression and leadership programme for young people in South Africa.
Leadership Curriculum Kenya

Active Communities Network staff have just returned from a four day fact-finding mission, in the first steps towards the development of a community leadership curriculum for the MYSA project in Nairobi, Kenya. MYSA have recently been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize and are a strategic partner for the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation. Active Communities will now be developing a training programme and producing training materials for MYSA, to be implemented from September 2010. This is another key development for Active Communities Network as our partnerships and profile extend beyond the UK.
